September Farm Update

Wow, what a month September has been for us here at Sandy Patch Ranch! We've hit several milestones that are setting the foundation for an exciting future.

First and foremost, we're thrilled to announce that we’ve officially launched the ranch by filing our LLC with the state! This step has been a long time coming, and it feels amazing to finally be recognized as an official business. With this, our vision for Sandy Patch Ranch is becoming more tangible every day.

To complement the launch of our LLC, we’re excited to share that the **blog** is now up and running! You’ll find regular updates about ranch life and educational posts about livestock. And that’s not all—we’re proud to say that our **website** is also live! The website features everything from our ranch story to ways you can stay up to date with what we’re doing. Along with it, we’ve introduced some **custom Sandy Patch Ranch merchandise**! You can now proudly represent our ranch with some of the merch available on the site!

Another big milestone: we’ve taken a step toward expanding our hatchery operation! We ordered our incubators this month, and they’ve finally arrived. We’ve set them up and are preparing for our **first hatch** in October. If you’re in the market for **day-old chicks**, now’s the time to reach out to us—just send us an email, and we’ll make sure you’re first on the list for the new arrivals.

Midway through September, we took a road trip to pick up our newest additions—our Ewe lambs! We’ve added 10 beautiful lambs to the ranch, and we’re especially excited because they’ve been exposed to a buck, meaning there’s a good chance some may be pregnant! We’ll be keeping a close eye on them in the coming months to see what surprises spring brings.

After bringing them home, we wasted no time getting them settled. We tagged each of the lambs and set up a **portable feeder** system. This allows us to move the feeder to different lots, ensuring that the lambs always have access to minerals and shade—no matter where they’re grazing. Keeping them healthy and comfortable is our top priority, and this new setup gives us the flexibility to do just that.

All in all, it’s been a month of progress, growth, and excitement at Sandy Patch Ranch. We’re so grateful to have you following along on this journey with us, and we can’t wait to share even more updates as we continue to grow our ranch!

Philippians 4:19
"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus."

Stay tuned for what’s coming in October—it’s going to be another busy month full of new developments and, hopefully, some baby chicks and lambs on the way!
