Photographer Waiver & Release
This is the photographer version of our release. Sign it once and it covers every time you come out for a year — sessions, walk-throughs, and scouting — so you aren’t signing a new waiver every visit. Your clients still sign the ranch waiver before their session.
Assumption of risk, release & responsibility
- I understand Sandy Patch Ranch is a private, working farm with uneven ground, tall grass, livestock, farm equipment, insects, wildlife, ponds, and other natural hazards.
- This release covers every visit I make to the property — sessions, walk-throughs, and scouting — for one year from the date I sign it. I do not need to sign again before each session.
- I enter the property voluntarily and at my own risk, and I release and hold harmless Sandy Patch Ranch and its owners from any claim for injury, illness, death, or property loss or damage arising from my visits, except in cases of willful misconduct.
- I am responsible for my clients, my assistants, and anyone else I bring onto the property, including their conduct, their safety, and the supervision of any minors in their party.
- I will make sure every adult in my client's party signs the ranch liability waiver before their session.
- I will not touch or interact with livestock, will stay out of the pond and off the bridge, and will follow all posted and verbal instructions from the property owners.
- I am financially responsible for any damage, loss, or excessive wear to props, structures, gates, or landscaping caused by me or anyone in my party.
- I carry my own liability insurance and understand my policy — not the ranch's — covers my photography business.
